Using the game
Stir the Table is a free entertainment product for group debates. You may use it for personal, non-commercial gatherings as long as you follow these terms and applicable law.
Not professional advice
Questions are provided for entertainment and discussion. They are not medical, legal, financial, relationship or other professional advice. You decide whether a question is appropriate for your group and may skip any question at any time.
Optional stakes
Challenges and votes are part of a social game, not a test of anyone’s honesty. Use lives as the default stakes. Drinks are optional; water and alcohol-free drinks work equally well. Alcohol is for adults of legal drinking age only. Never pressure anyone to answer, drink or reveal personal information. Anyone may pass, stop or change the stakes at any time without a penalty.
Question content
The site's questions, writing, branding and visual assets are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may read and share individual questions through the built-in Share function, but you may not scrape, copy, repackage, sell or publish a substantial portion of the question library without permission.
Respectful use
Do not use the site to harass others, violate anyone's privacy, interfere with the service, bypass security measures or access the site through abusive automated traffic.
Availability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Questions, features and availability may change, and uninterrupted or error-free access cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, use of the service is at your own risk.
Third-party features
Your browser, device, sharing apps and hosting provider may supply parts of the experience. Their separate terms and policies apply when you use those services.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the product changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms; otherwise, stop using the service.
